Trimble Business Center’s “AI-Based Feature Extraction for Point Clouds”

Please join Kris Fairley, AllTerra Central’s Trimble Certified TBC trainer, as he dives into using deep learning to create new point cloud region classes in Trimble Business Center (TBC).

Mr. Fairley has over two decades of surveying experience covering a myriad of different survey types. He started out in East Texas doing mainly TxDOT and oil and gas work while attending Tyler Junior College and eventually receiving a Surveying Technician Certificate. He eventually moved to Houston where he worked doing civil, boundary, and linear right-of-way surveys across several states. The majority of his career has been spent working with Trimble Geospatial equipment. He has a high level of proficiency working with Trimble GNSS, as well as conventional and robotic total stations. He is also very knowledgeable with Trimble field collection software and devices. Mr. Fairley has been with AllTerra Central for 6 years and is the Support Lead for the Advanced Technologies department. He is a Trimble Certified Trainer and specializes in Trimble Business Center training as well as troubleshooting any problems that may arise during installation, licensing, and day to day processing.
