Trimble Business Center Update

A patch version of TBC was released in January of this year. This patch addressed several issues that were found and contained an updated Coordinate System Database. Some of the issues fixed were:

1. Smooth curve generation in linestrings
2. Earthworks Summary report was showing incorrect volumes
3. Point cloud scan registration using files other than TZF with a fixed station could break the registration
4. Trimble SX panorama export could cause an error

TSC5 Update

An issue arose with the release of an update from Android 11 to Android 13. Some units experienced crashes related to an incompatibility between he GNSS driver and Android 13. An updated OS was made available on February 19^th, 2024 and was deployed over the air. For more information please see the bulletin at the following link. TSC5 – Android 13

Web app—ArcGIS Online

The latest version of the Field Maps Designer web app on ArcGIS Online was released in February 2024. It includes the following:

• Define the coordinate system used when creating new layers.
• Determine if m-values are stored when creating new layers.
• Add Info elements to provide read-only text on the form.
• Disable the markup tool to prevent mobile workers from capturing sketches and notes on the map.
• Reorder layers on the map and manage group layers.
• Various bug fixes and improvements.

 

Trimble Realworks

Trimble Realworks v.2024.00 was released in January, 2024. This release contained many enhancements that affected quality, productivity, and data interoperability.
